Quest reset bug

I was at the end of chapter 3 part one on the new monthly event (Heroic mode) when the game suddenly said you have been disconnected. So I restarted and clicked continue on the quest when another message said the quest has timed out. So I lost all my progress for that round as well as the energy it took to get from the beginning to the boss. First time this has happened to me. Has anyone else come across this?
