15K Red Shard Crystal Upset

I purchased a 15K crystal and got Groot. Took a quite a while to save up and didn't expect disappointment at which a high level. Should I just sell him and wait another 2-3 months to get a new 15k and hope for a better result?

    You don't get 6* shards? I would cause I barely use him. I even skip him in Arena.

    He will eventually end up getting you more 6* shards in the long future than if you were to immediately sell him. I can never understand selling champs

    You can't sell him. It was removed because there was no use in selling them and people would accidentally sell them or get there accounts nuked

    If it is taking you 2 to 3 months to save 15k shards, you should only purchase the basic crystal. You are not doing yourself any favors by buying the featured one. This is what happens when you buy the featured. Now you know.
    PS: To this day, I get more than enough 5* shards to open more than one crystal a month, and still not falling for the featured trap.

    Thank you all for your input. It's something to consider as I'm saving up again.
