Killmonger Truestrike w/o

Hitting opponents that are recovering from a Special Attack grants Killmonger True Strike for 16 seconds. This allows him to ignore Armor, Resistances, and Evasion

Can anyone tell me how to activate this? I've tried everything i know and it doesn't work...I evade specials and that doesn't work

Intercept the opponent after they activate a special.

You have to hit them literally as soon as they finish firing their special. As it’s hard to explain, I’d advise going to YouTube and looking at some videos of him, you’ll see it better there.

Not impossible. You can use the unstoppable charges from sp1 to stay close and hit him after it. Thing is, Killmonger isn’t a great option for IMIW just because he can’t bleed the guy

The easiest way is to activate sp1 and become unstoppable then block their special. This eliminates any recovery and usually grants TS.

If you block a special without unstoppable, it will not trigger TS because of recovery time. The special has to be evaded or it has to miss and you intercept right after it's over.

Keep in mind there are some specials that will just not activate it (MM/CM sp1 is an example).

Would like to disagree with KM not being a great option vs IMIW. Almost any champ with TS should be a great option vs IMIW. Problem is getting TS CONSISTENTLY from IMIW’s recovery after his specials. KM doesn’t need to bleed his opponent to kick his arse.

It’s not entirely impossible to get TS after an IMIW special (ultron, SIM and IM same situation). It Is very very inconsistent though. I can get TS after an ultron sp1 at one point in the fight and then not achieve it again for rest of the match.

IMIW sp1, KM can use an unstoppable charge to immediately attack IMIW while he is “recovering” but still not get the TS buff.

Fair enough, personally I don’t think he’s a great option but if you do then that’s fine.

I’d just rather use void, Corvus, Proxima or Hyperion

Trying to keep these Killmonger truestrike discussions alive ( can never get a mod to respond or even acknowledge btw) but their servers are always down and needing to be fixed seems to need to take a bit more precedent.

There is also another way to get his true strike, and that's the synergy with winter soldier. With said synergy KM can activate true strike when intercepting an attack and not just after specials. It's a 100% chance to activate for a 5*, not sure what it is as a 4*. That makes him better for some champs who are hard to get at after they launch a special.

Without the synergy, as mentioned before you have to hit them pretty much right after their specials. Really easy on some champs, others it's a little tougher. Practice it and you'll get used to the timing.

Love the synergy with WS. But would like to be able to rely on KM ablilty to gain truestrike without having to bring WS most of the time.
