Story Mode: 5.3 - Re-locking Key Gates(Game Breaking)

Game Mode: Story Quest

Champions Affected: Not Applicable

Active Boosts: Not Applicable

Description of the Issue: There's a major game breaking issue with Chapter 5 Act 3, regarding Keys & Key Gates. Once a quest has reached 100% exploration the Key Gates within that quest will re-lock themselves. This is not a graphical glitch. If a Summoner goes back into the quest with the relevant Key, the Key Gates will again, remove the corresponding key from their inventory, then re-lock themselves again after completion. Since there is a finite amount of Keys(They don't Respawn), this breaks Story Mode progression, making it so the Summoner will be unable to play the game as intended. As you can see in the pictures below, 5.3 is fully explored except for two paths in 5.3.1. Due to this game breaking aspect that has been implemented, I'm now unable to fully complete Act 5 Chapter 3 and Act 5 overall.

    That's not game-breaking. Otherwise many, many more players would have this same problem. Overheating is game-breaking. You probably broke your own game by not paying attention to where the keys are and not doing those quests one chapter at a time.

    If you can't redo certain paths in the other completed chapters to get the missing keys, then keep sending tickets to Kabam and hope they respond positively. Good luck.

    You're trying to compare something that limits individual playtimes(Like an Energy System would) to something that fully inhibits story mode progression. That being said, I'm not gonna debate you on how you define the term "Game Breaking", since I in turn also don't feel that overheating falls under game breaking. To each their own.

    The issue is caused by farming, as you would in any other section of the game. It has nothing to do with not paying attention to where keys are or not doing quests one chapter at a time. It has to do with the mechanics implemented into this specific section. A finite amount of keys and key gates that re-lock upon full exploration, a problem was bound to arise. There have been other reports about this in the past, I've seen a few on reddit. So it does happen, it's just not that prominent since people will usually farm in easier locations.
