Make Hyperion ACTIVE

Look I actually want to swap 2 character buffs around

I want to give Carnage Hyperion's PASSIVE power gains. And give Hyperion. Carnage's active gains

So Carnage should auto gain power when enemy is bleeding as they are REALLY short bleeds

And Hyperion should get increased power gains like 200% Electro in this monthly quest because of HOW LONG and HOW MUCH it gives

Carnage will actually become decentish

And Hyperion will still be an OP HAX used by the unskilled to effortlessly walk through hard content without issues because they can't be bothered to actually hit the enemy for power

(Not this won't make him useless on defense as hell basically be like jugfernaut where he phases between normally getting hit and having a phase where staying back is ideal

    Because it doesn't make sense.
Increase Carnage power gain and fix his trash stats would be enough. Hyperion would actually be more OP with that active power gain

Because the length of Carnage's Bleed is pathetic to be effective

Also Hyperion's Active Power Gain would scale based off his current buffs and not 200% as that was an example using a standard that by now EVERYONE can jump to and say "OOOOOOH I see"

So why does your idea of "buffing" Carnage" consists in changing Hyperion? Is Carnage bad because of Hyperion?

I was using them as examples of ways to bring them BOTH into line

Where Carnage gains an increased power gain, Hyperion would use it FAR more effectively and it would balance him without actually taking anything away as most people claim "you have to use him offensively and stay in the enemies face with Heavies and L2" so making his power gains have increased amounts ENCOURAGING this play style even more and balancing him on defense. Plus as his signature extends this Buff further he'd essentially be gaining a LOT more damage per hit the entire fight without going into fair auto gain and even allow him to retain the same overall offensive gains while allowing the "bait" strategy to actually WORK!

Meanwhile as I thought about how Carnage gains his power I often hear "make it passive" from my multiple alliances as I have contacts in a few as well as most YouTubers for the game saying something similar. Carnage doesn't bleed long or often making the use of his sig atrocious! However if his Heavy QUICKLY charged his L1 I'd bet he'd be a LOT easier to set up and use...

    NO.

OMG the bias is strong in this one… HE WILL STILL WALK YOU THROUGH THE MORE DIFFICULT CONTENT!!!

The only difference will be how he gains the power

    Hyperion is good enough

The best way to buff Carnage is increasing his friggin bleed and attack damage, he hits like a wet noodle

Actually this would be a minor tweak that'd make Hyperion just as good offensively and slightly less "unfair" defensively. And it was just an idea for carnage as atm the sig is trash and this way it'd get a halfway decent use

But you're not factoring in that hitting an sp3 from carnage causes a 20 second bleed. With this change, carnage could hit a few heavies and sit back for his sp3. Then sit back and hit sp3 again. He'd be like old strange as an attacker and also gain power from fighting. It would be way too much.

Here's a thought, leave them be. If you get Hyperion, rejoice. If you get carnage, don't spend resources on them. Just be glad you get to face him in quests since he is easily rolled over.

I personally don't care about what any individual champs abilities are, I just hate that they change all the time. You spend resources on a champ based on what he can do, then a few months later he's a different champ than what you had. Very frustrating. If they are OP or UP, just leave them that way. If an OP champ makes a quest too difficult or too easy, buff or nerf the champ in the quest. Easy to do with nodes, or link notes or simply changing the rating of that champ in that quest.

He'd also HAVE to bleed for the effect which in a way would actually make him more like Voodoo than Hyperion. Using an L3 to keep the opponent in a cycle (of power control or bleed?
That Bleed would HAVE to come from Sp3 or multiple Heavies

A maximum of 100% power over 20 seconds or 5% per second

NO! How about 0.3% to 4% energy per second up to 20 seconds based on Bleed duration? (20 sig would be around 1.9% per second)

This would make incorporating Heavies into hiss tragedy useful while also allowing him to Spam L3 easier when set up.

Together Bleed immune and drainers would keep up with it and make it balanced for Carnage to go crazy
