Kabam should add a place where we can duel specific champions that we want, for no energy or duel credits. This place should yield no reward but rather act like a training ground for people.
This place should also be free of charge i.e. summoners can continuously play here.

The idea is nice but Kabam will never implement it. The company's goal is to have people unprepared for some champs so that they can spend money on heals and revives.

How about just old champions? So players can enjoy the game when they are out of energy

In a console game where you pay upfront? Sure!

In a freemium phone game: why? Energy refills and timers are there for a reason, pay to play now or come back in 2 hours. Those economics don't/won't change.

Fortnite btw is a console game with freemium tendencies. They also print money, so if you're bored give their playground mode a spin.

A good way to practice is in the Road to the Labyrinth. Just run through those maps with the champ you want to practice playing, choosing a difficulty level based on your ability. Minimal energy costs. I've done this a few times, increasing the difficulty level as I go. Helped when I was learning Quake, Ghost and Corvus.
