Help requests not displaying properly

When alliance members ask for help, there are three places that it should be displayed. As a counter in the alliance button in the navigation menu at the top of the screen, as a counter on the help shield on the home page, and as a list of help requests on the alliance help page. These are not showing up consistently.

Sometimes it shows up in the alliance button and not the help shield, or vice versa. Sometimes it doesn't show up on either, but when I go to the help tab in the alliance menu, there are a bunch of help requests there. Sometimes I finish giving help and a counter appears on the alliance button, but there are no help requests visible until I go to another page and come back.

This only started a couple of weeks ago. Is anyone else getting this?

BTW, I always play on wifi. Could that be part of the problem? This started about the same time that my android device stopped being usable at all because the game stopped handling wifi properly.

I take it from the lack of reactions that this isn't happening to everyone.
