AW ranks & tiers & match-ups

Is it just normal now for 8m-10m alliances to be consistent match-ups in tier 13 or Silver1/Gold3? Or have we just been getting really unlucky? I get it's kind of like RNG but not, kind of based on rank but not, kind of based on tier but not, kind of based on whoever is matching up at the same time but not.

I've just never seen so many powerhouse alliances savagely going to war, over 4* shards.

Joining war just makes me sad when I look at the map and it's filled with duped R4 5*s like Modok, IMIW, Juggernaut, Nightcrawler, Medusa, you get the point lol.

Been happening to us too. We’re a 7.5 mill alliance with maybe a handful of rank 4 5’s and a couple 6 stars and we’re up against an alliance with over 10 6 stars and a ton of rank 4 5’s. About 13 mill alliance
