What is happening to the overheating issue?

This issue is still very much alive. What is being done to fix it? There hasn’t been any sign of movement for weeks.

    Don’t know... but I lost sound only on MCOC after completing Dungeonds and the gold sound effect got hung up and kept auto repeating. I even restarted my iPad and still no sound in the app. Check other apps and have sound...

    I`m putting all my money on Apple to solve the overheating in iOS 12 when it will be released, as it doesn't happen only in MCOC.
