Game Servers Down?

Was in the middle of a battle and game disconnected. Game servers down?

Just my opinion, but expect a couple times a day for the game to have emergency maintenance or be unavailable at times while dungeons are running. It's the same issue as last time they were here and the feedback about how dungeons break the game play has been voiced quite a bit in the forums. The fix is basically to reboot the servers or whatever services are running to keep MCOC up when the system runs out of resources so we get the initial issue when they can't keep up and it's down til the reboots complete. Then it's fine until the resources run out again and the reboots are needed to "fix" the problem again.

This is all absolutely correct. And to add, don't expect any compensation if you lose your progress in anything during the next 2 week period - whether that's in the dungeon itself, or event quest, or war or AQ, or arena. Everything is play at your own risk until they come out with a fix for this...and like most of the game issues and decisions right now, i'm not holding my breath.

It's pretty bad when the you tube guys all try to make videos yesterday about their Gwenpool crystal pulls and they start out being upset they couldn't create their content when they were ready, until Kabam finally fixed their issues. One of them had such bad lag it was like the crystals were in slow motion. Rich was pretty upset and even hinted that he made that channel specifically to do content for MCoC and if it's unreliable when he's ready to make videos, he might look at something else. I wouldn't blame him. It's pretty embarrassing to see, and Kabam won't even come out and confirm what the problem actually IS, and you know they aren't interested in making it right, as we see from the summoner depreciation/"gift"/compensation debacle currently being discussed.

Moral of the story: beware of everything you do while dungeons is running these 2 weeks. And possibly after. Just in general. Lower expectations. lol
