Should I R3 my 5 star Venompool or R5 my 4star Corvus?

I understand Corvus is a definitely a better champ as a 4 star but Venompool is a 5 star. A more general question would be is it better to invest your T4CC in a good 4 star or a so-so 5star?

    I see these post all the time.... It matters where you are in the game your rating and how many 5 stars you have

    Also I am currently at a stage accumulating T4CC where I have lots of rank 4 4stars but no rank 5. Is it common for people to skip maxing their 4 star and move straight to 5 star?

    Im guessing that we are in the same alliance mate,
    If i were you, i wil choose corvus. You're not gonna rank venompool to rank 4 right? Lets say that you rank venompool r3 vs corvus r5,
    And im sure many people think corvus is far more reliable

    Or, if you just want to focus on 5*, just wait till you get god/demi god tier.
    Except you have so much resources and need to increase your rating
