Who do I rank up when I finish Act 5 Explo in a couple days?

If taking a 6*Champ from R1→R2 wasn't so drastically more expensive than taking a 5*Champ from R4→R5, my decision would be a lot easier. However, the fact that that T5B I would save could allow me to Rank 5 a 2nd champ in another couple of months (I have 25K frags ATM), makes it hard to justify Ranking the 6*.
Side Note: I am not strongly considering X²³ or LC, I just am curious to see if they'll get votes

    Take up blade or cap, I recommend cap. Caps damage is just so insane, plus as a six star, you’ll be able to rank him further eventually
