Regarding Uncollected Gold Crystals

Anyone who has defeated the Colletor was bestowed changes on certain crystals they could buy. A big one was the uncollected gold crystal, which replaced the regular gold crystal that could be bought in the "Crystal" tab of the contest. While it was added and to the crystals tab, it was not added to the glory store for uncollected members. I was wondering if this was done on purpose? It seems a little off to me that we would get the regular gold crystal upgraded in one section of the game, but not upgraded in another. A response from a mod/admin would be preferred, seeing as how most of us wouldn't possess that knowledge.
