What accounts for minor AQ point differences?

I’ve noticed sometimes one group will earn an extra point or two in AQ than another group (when both are 100% explored). What accounts for this difference?

Today, the first two BGs have finished. BG2 earned one point less than BG1:



This was a Map 4.

I know there used to be point differences between groups on lower maps because of random adaptoids—but I thought they got rid of that when they changed AQ and introduced Sentinels.

It’s not a big deal, but it’s happened a few times now and I’m curious why!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I think it's regen. You'll take health off and get points. If you clear it first time you'll get less points than if they continued to regen.

Interesting @SandeepS ! As you know, BG2 da best so I felt a little sad we earned one less point! 😝 But if it means we cleared more opponents the first time around, that’s a good thing... sort of! 🙂
