What's wrong here? All you need to do is not activate armor shatter and you can keep removing his armor passives with medium attacks. And then just use heavies during that last 15%
Looking at the new champs I can tell most of the abilities are passive, and when abilities are passive certain champs like magik become useless as the nullify that was intended to remove suck buffs is rendered useless
This line has always gotten me, I added the all caps words for emphasis. It's humorous to me in its fallacy.
If something needs to be ACTIVATED, then by definition, it's not passive. An umbrella is an Active guard against rain. It's not effective all the time, you need to apply effort to use it, and you take it down when it's not necessary. You activate it. A roof is a Passive guard against rain. It's there all the time no matter what the weather is. When it starts raining, it requires no external trigger or activation to kick on. It's passive.
Juggernaut is a good in-game example. Juggernaut has an additional layer of passive armor built into his stats. This armor is not activated...it's always there...so much so that's it's not necessary to display any type of on-screen icon. Same with Spidey's Evade. Or Jane Foster's Energy Resistance. They are all true passive abilities/buffs that require no trigger or activation.
IMIW was given illogical "Armor Passives" that don't behave like other passive abilities for some reason. We could all theorize what that reason (or reasons) could be, but it would be fruitless because nothing would change. Just par for the course anymore, I'm afraid.

So much this. Kabam gave Iron man active buffs and called them passive so they couldn’t make medusa a counter.

Which, if true, is very strange considering her main niche is shutting down robots and armored champs.
Of course, her "shutting down robots" thing has never made sense to me either. Is there something specific about Medusa that would make her a powerhouse against robots? Nothing I've ever read suggests this. If anything, shutting down the abilities of robots would make more sense for champs like Thor, Electro, Shadowcat, Magneto, or heck, even Ant Man.
