Does Armor Shatter work on Breakthrough node?

Hey guys,
I'm going for Act 5 completion and I'm on 5.4.4. (The one with MODOK as boss). I have decided to take the resilience/breakthrough path. I was just wondering if my Medusa's armor shatter would basically nullify this node (ie. Would her armor shatter remove all that +5000 armor rating). If not, how would armor shatter interact with a defender on breakthrough node? Thanks guys.

    I don’t think it did when I did 5.1.2....I think it’s a passive resistance.

    TS champs work well tho.
