How can diversity out way defender kills?

because defender kills are only counted for three max per champ.
Even if your boss took 300 kills, only the first three mattered because it lowerd the attack bonus to zero.
This goes for any and all champs on the map.

Basically, when everyone has placed, the maximum amount of defender kills worth something could be 150 total.
But then you would have fought one immensely dense opponent if they were to give three kills on every champ...

Diversity does not outweigh defender kills (3 max attack bonus per defender).
1 diverse champ = 30 points toward your score
1 bonus lost (up to 3 per defender) = 80 point reduction of your opponents score

So pretty much u can look at it like this, which is more beneficial? Adding 30 points to your war match score by placing a champ that can probably be beaten easily or stealing 80 points from your opponents war match score for every available bonus they lose?
While the second option makes the war easier for u to win and claim that 50k bonus, you still have to make sure that your side dies much less than your opponent.
