I would love a trading system added because I have champions that my friends want and they have champions I want

Correct, never going to happen. That would undermine/destroy the core of this game. If Kabam wanted to make it easier for you to get whatever champions that you want, they'd just make a champion store, where your crystals/shards can be used to select whatever you want, or simply a crystal that contains a much greater chance for you to get X champion. Much easier than a trading system to implement, but the ease of not the point. It's a game that they want you to invest you time and money into in order to get what you want, and your collection to be a reflection of your individual efforts.
