Corvus Glaive parry VS BPCW

So I will be going up against an awakened BPCW with armour up node in AW soon. I got Corvus and wanted to see if I parry, will I gets stunned?

Corvus parry breaks all armour and thats one way of beating Emma too, so against BPCW on those nodes, would that stun me or not?

    It shouldn't

No, you won't get stunned. It will cause all armor buffs to be armour breaks.

BPCW reflects stun by cosuming one armor up buff. No buff to consume, no stun reflect

Corvus will break all armors when parrying. So BPCW does not have any armor up buff to consume, so your corvus will not be stunned

What the... Corvus breaks all armour buffs? So if Black Panther had 100 armour buffs he’d break them all? That’s fair pfft.
This really isn’t a game breaking ability as you seem to imply. It gives him some really nice utility.

Oh ya it’s really nice utility. Right up there with guaranteed crits on hit or block, Bleed immunity, and the ability to cheat death.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. Simply because if you are, you seem to be implying that Corvus is overpowered. And I can confirm he really isn’t. He’s an excellent champion, one of the best. But he isn’t overpowered. He has his weaknesses.

He definitely has his weaknesses. Like how Glaives immunity shuts off for an entire 3 seconds when he’s knocked down or how his SP2 can drain 20% of his opponent’s power but only if they have 3 bars. Not to mention that he needs Proxima Midnight on his team to activate True Strike.

You should probably start a nerf Corvus thread then.

@My_Superior he's not that OP if you spend all of your glaive charges he sucks until he gets them back no crits no immunity he's fine where he is

What node? It should work in all cases, I can’t think of any situation it wouldn’t. So either there’s a bug, or you’re mistaken.

Yes, my fight in AW was enhanced armor up and +45% armor, so it works on all nodes

What about nodes that give constant armor ups? Those can't be dispelled or removed, right? This is why you see BPCW on the arc reactor path.

I know Sabretooth bypasses it, but that's because of the mechanic involved not because of breaks or dispells.

Even then. Corvus inflicts 1 armour break for a well timed block plus additional armour breaks for every armour effect active on the opponent. That includes node armours. It gets rid of all armour ups.

Effectively, it transforms every active armour into an armour break. That’s how it works. Black panther civil war can’t reflect stun since whenever corvus parries him, regardless of the node, he removes all armour

Yea he’s pretty average overall. You should definitely once again choose to ignore your next opportunity to own him. Don’t grind for him if his arena comes back or spend for him like every other Corvus owner did. Not worth the effort or money.

buffet mini and believe me I’m confused as to how it happened because it’s impossible to parry and then stun without removing armor

What’s the full list of nodes? Buffet wouldn’t affect Corvus’ armour break

It’s node 31 in t1. I can’t screen shot it because everyone is through in the war I’m in.

Yeah none of those nodes would affect how Corvus can parry BP CW. Are you sure that you parried Black panther and he reflected your stun? Is it possible he just parried you?

I’m a little hesitant believing that’s what happened because it’s just not how Corvus or BPCW works. Otherwise it’s definitely a bug.

I suppose its possible, the node can be parried though so knowing that i was parrying and 4 hit combing, with that play style armor break should have been on for over 90 percent of the fight.

I had him in the corner of the map and was really surprised when I lost almost all my health and was stunned

Corvus is OP against war machine...converts all those armor up into armor breaks - move over magik L3

I could have sworn I've had stun reflected by BPCW when using a parry from Corvus. I had assumed that it occurred because BPCW had the reflective armor in place at the time of the parry, so it acted before the armor break. I admit, I'm not sure what the order of events should be when two simultaneous things should take place:

    - On one hand, Corvus's parry should break all armor
    - On the other hand, that same parry should simultaneously trigger the reflect

Since it's the same event (Corvus parrying BPCW with his reflective armor) that triggers both results, what is the order that those results occur, and more importantly, WHY is that the order? That's what I guess I'm not clear on here.
