Arena Scoring

Is there any rhyme or reason to the scoring in Arenas? I know the multiplier is a thing that goes up to 3x the base amount of points you'd score in the fight, but there are times when I'm in the 4/5* arena and I'm scoring 20k+ points for a single fight and the very next fight in the match I'll score 8k and the final fight I'll score 11k. I'm sure winning vs. opponents with higher PI is part of it, but it doesn't seem real consistent. Thanks

    higher star champions get more points, higher PI gets more points, and facing higher PI enemies get more points.
