Champs changed during a dungeon run

I was running a dungeon last night with a r4 5* blade and 4* starky and meph. At the end of room one it through an error and closed the app. When I restarted my champs had changed to a r1 5* psylocke and r1 4* cable and sentry. Blade and my original team are now marked as having being used and can't be used again until the timer expires. I tried raising this to support but got a precanned response about clearing the cache with wait times that would have made the room expire any way. Anyone come across this?
