I would say yes but on condition you do the following;
Improve your masteries (look up mastery YT videos on how to build a basic cheap set up.
Work on parry timing, evading all special attacks and learning how to intercept consistently as well as baiting AIl specials.
Act 5 fights give you relatively no margin for error and you can have the most developed roster in the world, without a basic understanding of the second point you will end up spending far more than whatnis necessary.
If you plan on using champs of 4/40 or 2/35 power level, make sure you have units and a reasonable stash of potions and revives as most fights have upward of 50k health which means you are in for 50-100 hit fights and one failed parry/intercept/evade will be the emd of one champ.
It will be alot easier with at least one 5/50 or 3/45 as a champ you can rely on clearing paths.
My final advice is stockpile at least 2k units and just try each quest one by one, get as far as you can without dying. Always remember that an energy refill is cheaper than one revive and there is no shame in backing out and starting over.
