Dr Voodoos specials don’t chain from combos

I’m a week away from taking my Dr Voodoo to rank 5 because I like playing with him so much. Now I discovered the issue that has been brought up on this forum so many times hasn’t been resolved even though Kabam has had time to fix dominos medium “bug”. Voodoos ability depends on odd and even combos and specials. I just tried chaining a sp2 from a 4 hit combo now on a captain marvel in AQ map 6 and she not only blocked the first hit but she absorbed the second part. And countered. Luckily I wasn’t knocked out. This issue has been raised so many times on this forum. Why why why has it not been fixed Kabam?

Been this way for almost a year. Kabam Wolf said he was taking this bug to the team in January. Kabam Mike said this bug was still being looked in to months ago. Still no fix.
