Mastery exempt champs!

Question: with my hulk Ragnarok it says if he's under a damage over time debuf that he triggers "face me". And "instantly regens 70% of the damage taken". Does this mean that the instant it is triggered he regens what he has lost so far? Or does it mean that during the time face me is active he will instantly Regen what damage is incurred?
Also: at the beginning of the fight, when I'm using a champ like hulk for instance, who has poison immunity, it only says "double edge" and not "liquid courage" like it does with most of my champs. So does this mean that if I'm using a poison immune champ, they don't get the +30% attack bonus from liquid courage?! That's messed up. 😒 And if so, does this also mean champs like Dormammu, Ultron, and vision don't get the benefit of either mastery? Or on the flip side, will champs like Collosus or Groot (that are bleed immune, but susceptible to poison) Only benefit from liquid courage attack boost, but not double edge?
Last question: will my double edge mastery trigger hulk Ragnarok's "face me" passive? Or does the "damage over time debuf" have to be applied by the opponent?

1: it's kinda like hulk rags has his own built in willpower mastery, so it works in the same way as willpower, just for passive DoTs only.

2: no, you'll still gain the attack bonuses, even if the champion is immune to bleed/poison.

3: double edge will not trigger face me, face me only works against passive DoT debuffs, like dorm's degen, aura of incineration, critical failure, starburst... and not on the normal bleed, poison, incinerate... debuffs.

Hmm... That's too bad 😒 I wish that were explained on hulk's info page. I thought bleed and or poison would trigger face me.
But WILLPOWER is triggered by double edge and liquid courage right? Just Hulk R's face me is exempt from those masteries, and regular debufs?

Also, "critical failure" is not a "damage over time" debuf, since it does not actually damage opponents. So even though it is a passive debuf, it's not a "damage over time" passive debuf. Correct?

Yes, double edge/liquid courage trigger willpower.
Critical failure does do damage over time, just that the damage taken is reduced if it triggers multiple times in a row

Just to be clear, passive debuffs don't exist. Either they are buffs, debuffs or passive abilities.

Ghulk's info clearly says "passive damage over time". Meaning, debuffs don't trigger his ability. Only passive abilities that deal damage over time like Limbo, Aura of incineration, etc.

Willpower triggers on debuffs. It doesn't work on passive abilities, only debuffs (again, passive debuffs don't exist)

And as explained before, critical failure is a passive over time ability since it lasts 1,5 seconds and applies 3x ticks of damage.
