Why is the default time to CONCLUDE a dungeon room more than a minute ?

Hi,
I can't for the life of me figure out why the default time to make a decision after completing a dungeon room is anything more than a minute or two... The reason I say this is because there have been far too many disappointing partners that I got paired with during the current iteration who either just left the dungeon mid-way once they were unable to clear their path or became unresponsive. Not to mention those who just march ahead without any communication and end up taking down the wrong node (pic 1 below). As such, I was forced to take out the boss on my own (leaving would've just meant less points) and did succeed a few times. Thereafter, I just had to wait like an idiot as it takes 7 or 8 minutes to conclude the dungeon if your partner has left or is unresponsive (pics 2-5 below). Anyone else had such dismal experience ? Or is there a way out and maybe I missed it..
