    R5 a “better champ”
    Magik is one of my favorite champs but she doesn't scale great to r5. Check out some vids before pulling the trigger and prepare to be underwhelmed.

    I'm only saying this because I planned forever to r5 her, but after watching video comparisons I went with Hype and am super glad I made that choice.

    @spaceoctopus I have a duped 5* Hyperion at R3 waiting to R4. So you’re saying Hyperion scales better at R5?

    I believe so. He's an absolute beast at r5. Check out prof Hoff's vids of his r5 hype and you make the call.

    Should Magik's lower performance than Hyperion against WS in ROL be a consideration:

    Or should I factor in the fact that Magik is probably better all around because of her power removal / lock which is very useful against very high PI champs?

    If you’re looking solely at WS fights then why not just wait for Domino or Ghost?

    You’ve to look at your roster and decide what it’s lacking.

    To me, Hyp is just a very heavy hitter that’s poison immune. Most of the time, harder nodes / fights make it so that you have difficulty controlling the fight and Magik does that for me.

    Hence, IMO, Magik > Hyp, any time.
