Since June 2017, with the addition of Carnage, i was hyped to get not just one of the most amazing villains in comic book worlds that my eyes had ever seen, but one of my most favourite characters from all Marvel has to offer.
I smashed the arenas for the first time ever to pull a 3* (it was a big accomplishment for me back then) and i ranked and leveled him as far as he could go.
Unfortunately he alwayd felt... out of place. He came from the innovation of Kabam, trying new things and he just was one of the projects that didnt work out to well where it mattered. No matter, his animations were and still are the best the game has. He looks amazing and once I learned to use him, I eventually got a 4* from arenas this year and pushed him all the way to R5.
Then on he was my top champ and my hidden powerhouse in Act V!
As he was still helpfull, he was still lackluster.
Since I got my 3* then later got my 4*, I spent many hours and many days thinking of ways to make him better.
Some of the things I thought of (as well as many others I would assume) actually made it to his buff, but asked and demanded his redemption for a long time here on the forums and up into feedback tickets.
Finally its here. And I have to say, Carnage isnt only good looking and fun to watch. He actually deals damage now!
Id still love to see a Regeneration buff and a True Strike buff in there sometime in the future, but for now, Kabam, you have done well.

Carnage is actually worth playing in all aspects of the game now.
