Black Order Champions not #Villains, even though they should for this monthly side event quest

I understand that the Black Order Champions (Cull, Corvus, Proxima, Maw) got #ThanosArmy instead of #villain to avoid getting beat easily by the Blade/Ghost Rider synergy when they came out. However, for this side event event quest that restricts the player to using only heroes or villains of certain types depending on the day. I think its poor that the Black Order are clearly villains (and some of the best champions in the game to greatly help out in this quest) cannot be used for the harder difficulty monthly side quests due to bypassing a benefit for Blade..... Also the #sinistersix members have a #villain with them so its not like they cannot have multiple tags...

Agreed with Coat, they won't change. We all know they should be villains and anyone who says otherwise is just silly. But Blade would have ate them alive so Kabam can't allow that. Can't make money if new content is destroyed by old content easy, no one would buy the new stuff.

Thanos himself has the villain tag but his soldiers who know full well what they are doing for him is bad aren't. Gotta just get used to it.

The only one of the Black Order that is really a defender is Maw, and he's the one you can get Danger Sense against, so it never really bothered me.

Its so Blade doesn't nuke them into the ground.

They're not villains, just like most (all?) of the #Mercenaries aren't necessarily Heroes or Villains in their own right.

But if I remember correctly, they gain power on nodes that specifically says only villains gain power...

You remember incorrectly, at least for the node. It says heroes gain no power and villains gain absolute power, it says nothing about the middle (neither hero or villain), they gain normal power.

The mercenary tag makes the most sense to me for them. They do villainous deeds, but at the bidding of Thanos. Without him, I don't see any of them hatching their own evil plans or pulling them off on their own.

Exactly. Not to mention that intent is a big part of whether some's a "Hero" or "Villain" - The whole story of Thanos in the MCU is a pretty sizeable philosophical argument around the idea of doing bad things with a good "Endgame"

"Mercenary" is obviously someone who'll just do what they're paid to - they may have something of a preference and/or conscience but in general they'll just follow the money.

Maybe there could be a #Minion tag for anyone who really is just a following of their leader...

Assuming there are NOT gonna be days where the restrictions would be Mercs or other small-categories like Sinister-6 (that would be very restrictive)...

The suggestion here seems to be that the Villain day’s should be changed to allow BOTH Villains -AND- ThanosArmy tags. Or make the requirement “NON-HERO” (anybody who does NOT have the “Hero” tag).

I’ve got an account with 10x champs at 5* r4 equivalent or above, and about 40x at 4*5/50 equivalent, and basically only have 6 champs all 5/50 to choose from for today's Villains, and having to exclude Corvus is a big blow to the team (seems like he'll never have a day that we can use him). Heroes day yesterday was stacked with much higher power.
