Mephisto starts a quest with 3 Persistent Soul Charges, gaining an additional charge each time he knocks out an opponent, up to a max of 6 Soul Charges. Persistent Soul Charges travels with him from fight-to-fight.
He regens when he is under 30% health if he has a soul charge, so if you quit (which counts as him knocking you out) then he will get a soul charge, if he has a soul charge he will regen under 30%.
I assume you are thinking his regen works like ultron where it happens at a specific amount, it does not it is less than or equal to 30%
If he starts the fight under 30% hp, he starts converting any charge he has in to regen
Only way to bypass this is Blade, but not 100%, and if it happens, he won't regen but won't lose the charges either
The “Get That” reference is obviously referring to OP knowing that Quitting counts as a Defeat and would increase Persistent Soul Charge.
I think it is pretty clear that OP was just asking does the Regen trigger upon “falling below” 30% like Ultron or Ironman Regen's are. Or whether it would occur “whenever” Mephisto happens to be below 30%.
Straight forward question. Looks like the answer (after all of that) was YES, he will still be able to Regen.
