How about eliminating Iron Man (original) and Black panther (original) from all crystals? Since the newest version of each character is much better than the original. Or giving us the option to upgrade champs that have multiple versions of the same character? There's already 4 captain Marvel's. Yes, you can say the same about a lot of marvel characters. But let's face it. The "Ms. Marvel" characters aren't that popular.

    There are no "better versions". They are different champions.
    Removing them from the game is also out of question

    OP mainly asking that they fall into a “retired” category, in which the older versions would no longer be available in crystals (and maybe no longer appear as defenders on monthly quests, etc). Don’t think they should be removed from your current rosters if you have one, but removing from crystals would improve odds of pulling newer or more modern heroes if older versions are retired.

    For those that would still really want to pull some of them if they don’t have them currently, Kabam could do a special “Retired Champ” crystal that could maybe be available once or twice a year.
