Uncollected Mephisto Counter in Monthly EQ

I don't have a single incinerate immune champion for this months Mephisto, does anyone have any other counters for him or do I just need to throw a bunch of potions and units at him? It's the last quest I need to 100%.

    Otherwise you can try using champs that can pin him down with power control like Magik or Voodoo but they will be getting drained by Incinerate.

    I'm suprised nobody has mentioned him yet. The man the legend. The absolute unit. Caiw. He shreds that mephisto. Bonus points for being duped with a tech on your team.

    I led with 4r5 Human Torch dodging unstoppables for about 50% of his health. Then mopped up with 6r2 CAIW and dodged his aura....it wasn't the most effective, but it got it done.

    Just gotta do it the hard way, attack as per normal and when he activates aura of incineration dash back and wait it out, repeat.

    Since no-one else has mentioned it: if you have literally no Incinerate immune champions, and you don't have a no-hit option like Quake or Blade, you're in real trouble. That Incinerate deals 1370 damage per tick; so 2740 Energy damage per second.

    Are you sure you've no-one immune to Incinerate? There are quite a few now.

    He's immune to AAR, so Black Widow and Crossbones won't work.

    There are some synergies that can help reduce the damage, like the CAIW Science synergy; and the Dormammu/Mephisto synergy.

    There are champs with high base energy resistance, like Bishop and Jane Foster, who can probably cope. Bishop should build Prowess pretty well, too. Or Invisible Woman's Force Field should help. Have any of those?

    If not, I suggest you hit the 4* Basic arena, and grind like crazy for Human Torch!

    I just pulled a 4* Human Torch! I don't really like ranking up 4 stars but I guess this will be a good reason to.

    You can't reverse his healing. You can stop it, though.

    We mortals with an average roster have no hopes left...

    Anyway, I'm glad for you. I'm just a bit bitter that I have no decent counters myself. And no resources to rank up any half decent ones. :wink:

    A R3 5* HumanTorch is enough for the uncollected Mephisto :smile:
