Getting 5* shards asap

Hi, just started game 2 weeks ago, after stopping for a long time. What's the quickest way to get 5* shards. I do basic arena that nets me 500, sa another 150-300. AW tier 15 so it's excluded.
Level 30 atm. I'm seeing alot of low levels with 5* Champs.

    Go back in time to the beginning of this month. They gave away a ton!

    In all honesty, they are increasing the number of shards you can get from monthly quests, so do all you can there. Also, do featured arena as well. If you can get 1.7 in featured and basic, it will net you decent shards each time.

    damn if you re-started at the beg of august you would have collected 5000 shards this month just from calendar

    Lvl 30 your crying about 5*s you new players spoiled I didn't get a 4* tell I was in lvl 50.
