Clarification of "extended period of time" for automatic succession of alliance leadership

The changelog says,
"If an Alliance Leader has been inactive for an extended period of time, Leadership will now automatically be passed on to the next eldest Officer or Alliance Member who is still active."

Can a mod please specify what constitutes an extended period of time? (2 weeks?...30 days?)

I've never had this problem perhaps you could just make a new alliance or join another sounds like the guy who made it wanted to keep his mental property.......or got.banned

Violating the forum rule are more likely to get to a warning to an answer

I had this issue a couple of months ago. The leader had to be absent from the game for 30 consecutive days before Kabam would demote them from the leadership role

The existing procedures for replacing a Leader thru contacting Support had to be absent a certain # of days before Support would replace them manually (was that 30 days as someone mentioned ?)
With the new automatic procedure, people are just curious if that # of days will be the same as with the older manual Support method ? Or is the # of days absent going to change with automatic method ??
That's what is being asked for clarification.
