I've submitted a ticket and want to know if I wasn't an idiot

Hey guys. I submitted a ticket with a bug. I would like to know if the ticket is correct or is it how the game works?
This is what's in the ticket, in brief:
I got that pop-up with a discount. It gave me some shards, tons of heals, revives, and a 4-star Gem. Since I'm planning on becoming the Uncollected soon, I decided that I want to have it. The original cost was 1000 Units, the discount dropped it down to 850.
I was some Units short so I went and bought the cheapest wallet, played a couple of Arena matches, got 850 Units, and...
There is no more discount! When I access this "offer", it's back at 1000 Units!!
Since it's only a 12-hour deal and I won't be able to log in before it expires, I asked the support if they could give me those items and remove 850 Units from my account or give me some kind of reward / compensation for the money I wasted on Units, since I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't get this "offer".

So, is my ticket fine? Or is it some kind of mechanic I didn't know about and the ticket is useless?

    how long did it take for you to get those units up from arena? iirc, the 1000 to 850 discount is on a 30m timer. so I'm not sure if you missed the window to get it?

    The discount is only for 30mins. If you didnt get the units within that time, then it's back to original price. Kabam cant help you

    So actually, Kabam did help me. I guess those rumors about their support working slow / bad are just rumors, at least in my case.
