Given the state of the game and players now breaking into the 6* R3 characters, do you think it's finally time for the introduction of a 5* Basic Arena, similar to the 4* Basic/Featured setup?
Does anyone know how soon after t4b was introduced that they started a t4b arena? And, how long after that there was an additional 2mil milestone added? The milestone for t5b (let's face it, probably frags) will be so high, it won't matter if they leave it open to everyone, it won't be viable to a lot of the people who really want them.
Watching Dave's video and hearing the devs talking about not flooding the game with resources is a joke. They're cool with it as long as you're paying for Cavs but adding a 5* basic is just too much.

They are cool with it because if no one buys crystals then there's no game. Buying crystals is a compromise between making a fair game where everyone only gets what gameplay earns and making a game where the developers aren't all homeless.
To be frank, the resource balance in this game is one of its better attributes. The devs might not be able to keep the servers up or put decimal points in the right place consistently, but this game has a very good balance between earned, purchased, and freebee resources. That three way balance is extremely difficult to get right, and is the downfall of many games like it.
