Alliance war synergies

Do all your synergies work for alliance war defense on your team? For instance if I use Symbiote supreme and Dormammu does the sp2 still trigger through blocks??

    No, synergies do not work on Alliance War defense.

    Possible reasons:
    - there's 5 champs that can be used on defense, but only 3 to counter with
    - One or more of the defenders could be hidden on path 7, making the synergy a surprise
    - some 4-5 person synergies are too powerful on defense, such as the full Fantastic 4
    - certain synergies combine with the nodes to become overly powerful. Ex: Nick Fury + DPX + quake. Suicide champ gains 10% max health and evades you 3 times. Put that on the unstoppable/brute force node, or the unblockable ones, and the opponent will take a bunch of damage.

    Thank you. I assumed they did not but when you put your team together the synergies show.
