How useful is Doom's dupe?

I'm the lucky owner of a 6* doom. Hes incredible and super fun to play. From what I can tell, his dupe ability seems like a "nice to have" type ability, but doesnt really give him a massive boost. Anyone care to enlighten me?

    It's a great add-on, but you will slay with him unawakened, I promise. I have mine at 5/65, and he was great even before I awakened him. He's worth a mystic gem, but maybe not a generic one.

    If you wanna have fun with him, beef up your mystic dispersion mastery and pop a 200 percent mystic boost, and nuke away.

    I used my generic on him and pumping all the sig stones into him but its not a must

    I played him a lot before I awakened him with a mystic gem and I don't think it's a necessity by any means. Other than playing against Hyperion and Vision Aarkus, no other champ procs Power Gain buffs enough for it to be amazing, but let me tell you, in those fights, it is amazing to have

    Who would you rank up first? R5 duped 5* Doom or R2 unduped 6* Doom?

    6* Doom. His sig is a nice to have but not necessarily. It helps him against buff heavy champs/nodes but not really useful otherwise (except prestige obviously). I would invest in the 6*.

    Appreciate the insight everyone. Pretty confident I'm looking at my next r2 6*. God willing, I land the dupe some day
