Yeah maybe it's just a bug or mistake. Seems to happen a little bit, not just a one time thing.

Sometimes it happens if you have ever used another account on that device. (Not necessarily account sharing...some people have alt accounts) It will sometimes give you notifications for your non-main account even if you have not used that account for over a year.

Only know this because it was addressed by a mod on the old forums.
