Not getting the Nick Fury hype

Alright everyone, this might be controversial.

I can see the damage output from Nick Fury for the most part, but I have had a 5/65 duped Fury for about 2 weeks now. Used a 4->5 gem on him since I already had Aegon maxed out. I have not seen the value in him over a majority of the other good champs aside from his synergies. Maybe its because I dont have deep wounds or dont fully understand his play style, but am I crazy, or do others not particularly enjoy this champ? I guess im not a guy who enjoys the high risk high reward champs.

I think that basically you want to get a lot of bleed damage going on with Nick Fury with using heavies and sp2.
Also, you want to build up his map things, (not sure exactly what they are called but its the black think that he gains when he's attacked is attacking, view his abilities).
If you get enough of then he becomes unblockable and even more bleed and be added onto the champion.
Along with the internal bleed of when the defender gains ten bleeds, basically bleeds stack forever (with a timer) dealing massive damage.

Not that hard to fight with 30%. 2 parries, sp1, get to unblockable, then it’s just evading sp1 and countering.

Unless you run suicides...that is a drag with Nick trust me.

You need to get deep wounds maxed. Also he counters evade and miss champs and he can go unblockable for the rest of the match. His synergies are insane and his bleeds are amazing for a lot of content that needs it. Also he pretty much has death immunity for a fight which allows you to play more aggressively.

I understand why some people really like him but he's just not the character for me

Yeah. With suicides not a good idea. I’m not a fan of suicides though, so no issues so far for me 😂

Like xNig said, you pretty much need DW maxed and make sure you're ending combos on lights. He doesn't really play well with suicides, but his ability to shut down evade/miss mechanics easily, go unblockable so you don't even have to worry about the chip damage from parry at that point, do massive bleed damage constantly, shrug debuffs by knocking opponents down, etc... gives him a massive amount of utility.

Take all of that and add in his amazing synergies and he's one of the most useful champions to have currently imo.

He's also the best champ in game for map 7 Thanos imo. I run him basically every version of AQ and regularly take 70% + off Thanos with just Nick and have had a few solos as well.

He’s amazing in any matchup where the opponent can bleed
