  Well, even if they are. The side events rarely give units. I remember the Man-Thing event last year gave us units, other than that I don't remember units being there in the side events.

  Any difficulty. Usually for the monthly event quests you get 5-20 units for completing and exploring each chapter level just like in story quests

  I could be wrong as well lol but I believe the Doom/ Fantastic missions gave units a couple months ago
