Trying to take out this side event for AW

Ok. We finally decided to take out the 3 fight side quest for AW and we keep getting matched up with NO ONE in the other alliance. This has happened twice in a row and is getting frustrating!! We’re a group that doesn’t do AW, but this is annoying af!!

    How can an ally with 0 members be starting a war.

    I could understand if maybe everyone left the Ally after doing Matchmaking, but must be really bad luck to have that happen twice against you.

    I’m still wondering how it happened twice. I get it maybe 1 time, but back to back? There needs to be some kind of explanation towards this. Kabam overlords need some advice on how this is possible?

    Because both were just created this month, probably couple ppl created ally's just to get those Weekly Objectives, did matchmaking, but then decided to actually join a REAL alliance instead of just doing a single-player ally for wars.
    Meanwhile the Match and Defense Placement would have already started.

    If they were at 0 War Rating, must mean your ally is at the complete NEW end of WR as well in order that you were matched against them.

    The objective never expires, so you can just keep matching until you get an opponent that places actual defenders, and meanwhile you can just collect all the free rewards for a gimme win.

    ... I'm assuming you're winning these wars, right? I mean, I can't see how you could conceivably lose. Once you get a little bit of rating you should match against someone who actually wants to fight. If not now, then in the off season I would assume.

    Yeah we eventually got an opponent to get rid of it finally. Lol. Also yes we won the gimmie wars and lost our first actual war. Probably because we brought the same champs 1*-5*. I put my 1*-5* Black Panther so our diversity was crappie. Lol
