    When the game goes down like this (usually on day 1 of new EQ). Probably means lots and lots of people are trying to play and stressing something. The game goes down for “emergency maintenance”.
    Then it works again later.

    Does that mean that something was actually changed or “fixed”?

    Or does it just mean most people gave up and will log in later, meaning less stress on something and now works for the rest?

    I’m only asking because, if they know it’s normal every new EQ, couldn’t they do something more permanent to prevent it?

    Every time I choose a side the game crashes. I can't just skip this step either or log out and into my other account.
