    You're telling me you've never seen a blind person with a phone?
    Not one with a screen
    As a blind person myself, I can assure you that I manage a smartphone pretty well thank you very much. I can tell what things look like from the hum of the screen and the heat generated by different colors. It's not that hard to do once you have practice.
    And for routine stuff, like making calls or texting - that’s why we have Siri.
