Corvus needs to be able to gain charges to be good.
CAIW is good straight of the bat.
    This isn't a fair comparison

Is Cap awakened? If so, Cap. If not, Corvus.

Cap doesn't need to be awakened or at max sig to be really good. Corvus same thing. Just depends on if you want one or the other. Both have an incredible SP2 that will destroy.

For Cap to shine as he meant to, he absolutely needs max sig and he will be stronger than Corvus

Corvus with 4 charges is an absolute beast

corvus' fourth charge does almost nothing, he only really needs 1 or 2

Cap benefits from his sig a lot, but he doesn't need to be at max sig. The higher the better for sure, but 70-80-90% chance for any debuff is almost as good, as you do a lot of parries and hits anyway. The only exception is if you need him for heal or power gain reverse

i have a generic awaken gem not sure if i should use for cap iw.
Can you give me an example why having max sig makes him shine so much?
im not exactly sold. maybe i dont understand.
When paired with other classes, you get armor break and/or petrify and or shrug of debufs etc.

With all the stuff he can do as cap, he is also a ‘fast void’.

I see a lot more people using Corvus daily than CapIW. A lot of people sleep on what corvus brings to the table, and that is consistent rng proof great damage. He is the most reliable champ in the game.

each charge increases crit damage rating by 3225(data from auntm.ai as a sig200 6/R3), and gives corvus a cruelty buff. With 4 charges, corvus's crit damage is increased from base by 12,900. Corvus with 2 charges has his crit damage rating increased by 6450. That is a big difference if you ask me

Thats the kind of question i dont like because there's no context. What content are you going to run with the champs?

AW, AQ and act 5? Then Corvus is the clear winner imo
Act 6 (especially 6.3 and 6.4)? CapIW over Corvus every time.
