I’m gonna keep it simple, is this a new or old thing, have other people got these, how do I use it and if it’s new, will there be a way to get more?

    I have no idea. It seems interesting. I'm pretty sure you can recover master points for free though...

    It was used in the past to recover points from one mastery section, without spending units.

    Now it's free, so the item is pretty much useless at this point

    Exactly this. And outside of leveling up you can't get more plus you won't need them.

    Kabam should really just go in and REMOVE those Mastery Point Recovery items from being awarded at those different Summoner Level achievement marks.

    Whether they leave them in people's existing Inventory is fine, but why confuse newer players with getting something they never even knew about (or knew that their purpose has since been made useless).

    It would be cool if we could use them to recover individual points but whatever. Ended up using it because I was going to reset my masteries anyways

    It is old you can use it to recover your mastery points for free instead of paying gold
