  Then the best I can tell you is to build your roster up to where you can do these tougher side events

  Grind arenas to get premium hero crystals. 4* dupes give 275 5* shards. Also, get in the best active alliance you can and it will produce 5* shards (war wins, season rewards, alliance events)
