Reverse power with void of sorcerer supreme

I tried to reverse the power gain of sorcerer supreme with the petrification debuff of void but I didn't work in the Barons fight . She was still gaining power, Am I missing something

Each petrify reduces power gain by 50%
You need two to cancel passive power gain
FOTV(duped) countts as 2 so you need 1 more petrify to reduces power gain rate into the negatives making it 50% power gain of the original potency
Some nodes like improve power gain increase the potency of passive power gain by x%
So this means the math is additive and straight forward
Ex) improved power gain by 100% means the defender will get 2x the power gain potency this means FOTV will reduce it by 100% making it still 100% regular power gain 4 petrify effects will make it 0
If there was improved power gain then it could be why I’m going up against SPX so can’t Verify
You need 3 petrifies to cancel out 4 to reverse it by 12.5% which is 50% of 25%
