Warlock or Guillotine 2099 for Variant 2 & 3 (also in general contents)

Guys, I have a trouble choosing whom to rank up first between 5* Guillotine 2099 and 6* Warlock. Guillotine is R4 to R5, Warlock is to be max R1, both of which are unawakened.

My plan is to run Variant 2 & 3. I find I enjoy Guillotine 2099 more because she can ramp up her damage. But Warlock is XL champ for V2 and a tech champ for V3; so, he could be a very good choice. This makes me hesitate ranking up Guillotine.

By the way, I have fully max 5* Domino with trinity synergy for V2 as well.

So, whom you will rank up first if it were you? Appreciate it if you could share your thoughts.

    Get your Warlock to 1/25, then rank up Guillotine 2099 with the rank up materials and remaining tech iso.

    Skip the G2099 rank up. Level warlock and save the t5b to rank 2 warlock. R2 warlock is going to be godly compared to G2099.

    Sorry what I meant is Warlock from R1 to R2. It was a bit late when I wrote this lol
