No reward for long time players!

I've been playing this game for a while now and it's really starting to get on my nerves! 1st, u reach summoner level 60 and it's no big deal...your crystal options should change from that alone! Nah, I keep getting XP drops like I need em...it's been 2 years and I'm starting to think it's time to delete this mess! Instead of being more rewarding, it's become more difficult to advance my top champions!

Can you name me one game where it becomes easier to advance the higher in the echelon you go?
Maybe XP boosts from solo crystals? Because veteran players don't open those crystals
Being veteran in the game NOW means beating the Collector ONCE (Just ONCE) in act 5.2.6
If you are veteran, then this shouldn't pose a problem.
You get elevated to "Uncollected" status and your crystals will change.
No dude, the OP is right. Veterans are people who've been playing a long time, grinding away. There are few or no landmarks between L60 and being Uncollected.
Being Uncollected makes you part of the tiny Elite who have the time and/or money to take on 5.2. There are shedloads of vets who are a long way from doing this.
No dude. The OP is wrong. Being in Tier 10 AW and doing Map 3 for 2 years doesn't qualify you to being a veteran. Having experienced end game content does.
Being Uncollected is a very easy feat. It doesn't require that much time (one 5.2 path a week would have gotten you the title), nor that much units (300-400 units, easily grinded from Arena or free from alliance events).
If you aren't even capable of beating the Collector once, then you aren't a veteran at the game. Honestly, my personal opinion is that if you haven't done a path in LoL, you're far from being a veteran, with or without the Uncollected title.
The point is, those of you who reckon LOL or getting Uncollected is no big deal are part of an incredibly tiny portion of MCOC gamers; almost certainly less than 1% of the gaming population.
No disrespect: you are clearly very accomplished. The OP is simply suggesting that it would be nice if there was a middle ground for a larger section of veteran/senior/alumni gamers that would give something to the top 20% target than just the top 1%.
So, what? You just let them sit in your inventory?

Yes. Just like quest crystals.
Arena boosts and xp boosts are useless to a lot of players, so there is no need to open these
Well, a veteran is a person who has had long experience in a particular field. If you've not experienced the hardest content the game has to offer, which really isn't that hard anymore post 12.0, how are you considered a veteran?
5/50s are so easy to come by and I have 5-6 alliance mates completing LoL without a 5* R4, nor a 4* SL. Trust me when I say that the LoL experience is life changing and not what the regular game content can offer.

At the risk of turning this into a lesson on vocabulary, I think the word you're grasping for is "expert": I'm perfectly happy to stipulate that someone who has completed at least one path in LoL has acquired an expertise (whether via skill or resources or a combination of both) that someone who has not done so lacks.
I'm happy that LoL was life-changing for you, but to suggest that someone who has played MCoC for nearly 3 years and finished everything the game has thrown at them with the lone exception of LoL is not a "veteran" is off-base.

Woo hoo!
Aw, man.
