Did anyone else lose the war today due to the emergency maintenance that took place the last hour? We shouldve won ours and lost because our BG couldn't access it

    We almost won, but they took out the Boss before Maintenance.

    Yeah the maintenance killed us lost the war because they couldn't get to the last boss

    Bro sucks we put all the time into it just to lose. It sucks losing points in Gold 2 when we had that one guaranteed

    Yes we lost because we hadn't cleared one boss yet. But with 30 min left when maintenance started, no one in bg2 could get in to fight. What's the kicker is we had one person say they were still logged in -watching the timer tick down and showing 2 others online because they had already logged in before maintenance, but they were in bg1 and could do nothing. We had a 17 attack bonus advantage and it means nothing in a situation like this. Which is only kabam fault.

    So much for the recent compensation for multiple outages...it feels like they've taken that away now. If they didnt think they had a fix in place and that their servers were stable again....they should have waited to send that out....and should have pushed back the season. So my guess is they thought it was fixed and they ended up WRONG.

    In general I'm curious what was going to happen

    It being a Sunday, we needed all the time we were allotted and therefore didn't finish off some bosses. Would we have won? Probably not. But we're still missing a ton of points we would have gotten, and this being a season long tally, that will affect us. I was literally trying to log in every 5 seconds to see if it was over because someone had messaged us on Line that the boss was at 2% but then suddenly no one would get on.

    This wouldn't be the first season that ill-timed maintenance messed with. But outside this thread, maybe because it was the very end, there don't seem be to be too many people annoyed at this (probably those who already finished) and that thread about the maintenance was closed long ago after it ended. So do they just keep going and not address it, which would screw those who needed the last 20-30 minutes to get their points and maybe their win? Or end up not counting last war - which will screw those who were going to win despite the maintenance?

    I'm with you guys. Pretty pissed at this one. Should we have had the boss taken down earlier sure but we should have ALL of the time allotted. The alliance we faced was decent but diversity was gone for them. I hope there's some type of compensation for it but in the end were still hosed out of these points. There's supposed to be maintenance on Tuesday but really messed this one up for us. It sucks for you guys as well losing out and not getting the win for your respective alliances. Something needs to happen soon hopefully this doesn't happen again. Because its a bunch of time we don't get back now and take the "L" when we had them beat in every facet. Thank you guys for replying hopefully this will actually go somewhere and we get some type of retribution.

    we had JUST finished the last boss right when it went down but the other alliance i'm sure was pretty ticked off as they were in progress boss fight :|

    We lost our war because one battle group still had their boss to take down and no one could get into the game. What a waste of resources and boosts for everyone who used them or spent resources on them. In typical Kabam fashion I’m sure they will send us 1,000 gold and a level 1 revive as an apology. This game is going downhill fast.

    @Kermit528 totally agree with that. We had 1 BG too to just knock down the last one and no one could get in. It was a Korg boss too that would've taken some time to beat anyway. I love playing this game but I'm seeing what you are as well. I just started playing a year ago and have seen it sliding bit by bit. For you guys that lost I'm right there with you. For all you who finished and either won or didn't kudos. We all put our time and energy in and I feel like it was for nothing right now. This is my first post on here because for me it took the cake and needed to vent because its been happening a lot lately which isn't helping any alliances.

    Having emergency maintence at the very end of a war is just pure maddening frustration. Prior to AW seasons being introduced or during offseasons, it was more annoyance, to me at least, then the heartbreaking loss we endured today. And I've been through a few of these bad timed game outages on all sides of the possible outcomes. Other times it's been a case of thinking we might win because the other ally hadn't cleared a boss but hey the game came back up with 10 minutes left which allowed them to clear the boss and win because they had the better attack bonus and my thoughts at that time was kudos to them for not letting kabam steal their win after their hard work & persistence on getting back in to finish the fight. And other times both allies finished early and it didn't change the outcome at all. I understand that most allies will not want this war scrapped from the season. After all, the other times Kabam either removed a war or ended the season early, it was for more damaging errors like the loop bug requiring a lengthy game outage or the 10 min war where no one could truly participate. I have no trust in Kabam that they will offer compensation for this, even though I have sent in a support ticket requesting something modest. Just the individual win rewards and 224,000 extra points manually added to my alliances season points (that's for the 20k boss kill & 50k season win with the tier 7 multiplier). Not asking for any attack bonus pts from the boss....not asking for them to remove any pts from the opposing ally...not asking for my war rating to be adjusted even though we dropped to tier 8 because of the issue. No promise to guarantee my alliance Gold 3 rank or higher. No outlandish requests in my opinion.

    But this needs serious consideration....and by that I mean Kabam need to be proactive with finding a fair solution for this type of scenario because we all know it's going to happen again. Is it possible to extend the timer so once the game is back up, we still have a total of 24 hours of attack time? Others have suggested this and I agree it might be the best solution.
